Secret Formula: The 8 Aspiration Theory

Energize each of the eight directions in your home with the proper colors, elements, symbols and enhancements to add power, recognition and success to your endeavors. This is an easy but powerful strategy which boosts success and wealth in every room. Follow these directions to help you arrange your home and office interiors to maximize good fortune. The SOUTH sector or corner of your home, office or any particular room symbolizes aspirations of FAME, RECOGNITION and a good NAME. Promotions and upward mobility are located in the South . The South sector belongs to the fire element so use red and purple candles and bright lights to enhance the chi. Remove blues and water images here as water puts out fire. Energize the South with fragrant incense and place images of the victory horse (looking inward), birds (roosters, phoenix and a pair of cranes or mandarin ducks). Shine a light on each or every one for recognition luck.

The NORTH sector or corner governs CAREER success so placing the appropriate decorative items is essential. The colors here are blue and black (in small amounts) the element is water. The North is the perfect location to place water symbols (ponds outside, fountains in the north of the office or home and an aquarium either live or fake). Photos of the sea belong here as do soft waterfalls. NEVER, however, have a waterfall at your back as this can cause you harm. Activate the North with a golden ship sailing toward you on your desk or leave this spot empty to signify future attractive endeavors. (Remove plants, flowers and crystals here.) Metal energy can be used here as well. Silver, gold and white work well here.

The EAST sector denotes HEALTH and WEALTH LUCK.  The element is wood and is the ideal spot for the children of the family.  East is the home of the dragon so display your proud dragon figure here for health  and make free use of live plants (silk ones are okay) with round broad leaves that signify incoming wealth. Crystal trees with citrine and aventurine leaves work great here. Brown and green work here as do a lovely indoor water fountain (with a dragon nearby for health luck). Blues are perfect as water nourishes the wood element.

The WEST sector stands for DESCENDANTS’ LUCK, CREATIVITY and happy CHILDREN. The element of the  West is metal and the colors are white, silver and gold. Activate the West with images of elephants for longevity, crystals, gold coins, golden hangers, wind chimes, and a wealth vase. Remember to shine a bright light on the objects in the West as the element fire activates the element of metal.  Trying to conceive? Activate the West of your bedroom. Avoid candles or red and purple items in this sector.

The SOUTHWEST is the place for LOVE, the MATRIARCH, and ROMANCE. Activate this important sector with bright lights, crystals of all kinds, love symbols (double happiness, mandarin ducks, and two’s of everything). This is an EARTH sector so geodes in two’s, a pair of smooth crystal balls rotating on glass stands, a heavy grounding scholar stone, ceramic pots etc. work perfectly in this important sector. Remember, you can activate the big tai chi (the Southwest of the entire home) or the small tai chi (each southwest corner of each room) to activate for love, passion, a great mate, and a strong long life for the matriarch. Complimentary colors here are soft beige, yellow, orange and peach.

The NORTHWEST is the place of the patriarch and patronage luck. Help from the boss, your father or uncle all reside in this sector. The family’s wealth –the kind that lasts through generations, resides here. Focus on activating this METAL direction with silver, gold and white colors. Place your wealth vase here. Load up with coins, ingots, gold plated statues, silver bells and singing bowls in this auspicious and important Northwest sector. Avoid water images as they exhaust metal energy.

The SOUTHEAST of every home, room and office is where the prosperity luck resides. If you wish to attract increased earnings, energize this corner. The element is wood, the colors brown and green while blue (water color) energizes the wood element. Avoid metal here as metal objects destroy wood. Live plants and an indoor/outdoor garden magnify growth chi for the home. Construct a small waterfall here and keep its water moving with tortoises, fish and water pumps to churn up the energy. Activate money luck and see what happens. Place a water feature in the Southeast of your office and voila.

The NORTHEAST is an earth element corner and the powerful chi of the Northeast brings excellent examination luck, study luck, scholastic honors and scholarships.  Activate the Northeast of your child’s room with earth energy (crystals, round crystal balls, rotating crystals, hanging crystals, one single crystal,  crystal paperweights, crystal globes, crystal pagoda etc.) to harness education luck.  Put your crystal globe in the Northeast corner of your child’s room and you will see improvements right away.  Give your child his/her own cleansed crystal to keep on the study desk and to take to exams.

The CENTER of the home or any room is very important.  It is an EARTH sector with yellow and orange reigning.  Keep clutter free and place six smooth crystal balls here for harmonic relationships.
