Use The All Power Kua Formula to Find Your Four Lucky & Unlucky Directions

One of the most potent and easy to use formulas of feng shui is called the Eight Mansions, Kua formula. First you will need an accurate compass to figure out the eight directions in your home. Check out “How To Take a Compass Direction” in feng shui tips. Then you must know your kua number. Here is how to figure that out. Everyone who taps into his/her lucky directions has a great edge over everyone who does not know this knowledge.

To find your Kua number:

  1. Take your year of birth.
  2. Take the last two digits of your year of birth and add them until the sum of the addition is a single digit.
  3. If you are a male, deduct 10. If you are calculating for a child born in or after the year 2000, deduct 9 instead of 10. For example: 1945 male the formula is 4 + 5 = 9. 10 - 9 = 1. Therefore, kua number is = 1.
  4. If you are a female, add 5. If your are calculating for a child born in or after the year 2000, add 6 instead of 5. For example: 1945 female the formula is 4 + 5 = 9. 9 + 5 = 14. Therefore, kua number is = 5.
  5. If you were born before Feb 4th, use the year before your birth then continue to use the formula.

  6. If your Kua Number is 5 & 8 are the same for women.
  7. When sleeping, point your head in one of your lucky directions.
  8. When working, face on of your lucky directions (check to see the yearly energy.)
  9. When signing important papers, face one of your lucky directions (make sure it is not afflicted.)
  10. Always be sure to check the energy for the year. Try not to be in one of the yearly negative directions. Usually there is at least one lucky direction to face. Energize the lucking directions and protect yourself from the negative energy putting up the annual cures in those directions that are tainted by negative yearly afflictions.
